![]() ![]() I try every now and then but my bias is that I hate huge team games 3v3 or 4v4. I was there for the alpha and beta of CoH2 and I would have transitioned to it but I scrapped my PC and so so much happened that I could never come back to it. Myself, I played a lot of CoH1 from release basically and after about 2010 also online. Remember that CoH2 was review bombed by angry russians because of some ingame campaign cinematics. Panthers without vet are a big fuckin difference than with vet 3. This is something I have realized when playing wehr. ![]() after all, in very late game fuel is almost never an issue if they have been able to hold onto a couple points with OP posts. They will still always reach t4 if the game goes on long enough. In short - if allies are doing their job correctly - which is to deny fuel and other resources in early/mid game, this will delay wehr from teching, then finally delay even further with the purchase of vet and the actual panzers themselves. HOWEVER, the from people I have talked to, the allies are to not let wehr get to that point. The former is only slightly better, the latter being significantly better. And the tiger and king tiger I think are both superior to the pershing. The panthers usually have been on the field for some time by then. I think you need some 8 command points to get the pershing. But panthers are much much easier to get. The Pershing is slightly superior to the panther if a simple head to head tank fight. Like, why is there a 1 tank balance on the m26 Pershing? That is so ridiculously unfair. The ability to print out vet 3 tanks, in unlimited quantities, is second to none. I have noticed that Wehrmacht is probably the best faction all around. (The steam reviews between the two games are downright brutal) these 3 come to mind off the top of my head where I thought the first was much better than the 2nd or 3rd.Īlso, just going to throw this here too in case any of you CoH1 players want a more focused place to discuss Coh1. Dawn of War, Halo Wars, Company of Heroes. It is an immensely hard game to make a successful (better) sequel to. That is something i have noticed with RTS games that are done well the first time. It lacks many quality of life features of coh2 - indeed, I do miss these. I bought coh1 for like 5 bucks via steam, and within a few days was totally taken aback. Too boring, predictable, frustrating, and just not fun anymore. I am posting this here because as a long time coh2 player, I felt like the gameplay had become.
